can not uninstall SP2

When I try to uninstall it to goes throuhg almost all of it and at the end it
says it can't find a certain file and has not uninstalled sp2. I need help
b/b it is stopping me from downloading the k885523 update and fixing the
problem.

Go to Microsofts website..there are lengthy instructions for
uninstalling...it involves editing the registry if you are confident
of doing that.

I had a quick look and it doesn't look easy!
