Can not start Internet Explorer!

Every time I try to start Internet explorer I get the following message:

"The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click OK to
terminate the application."

I have removed and reinstalled the explorer several times but I keep on
getting the same message when I try to start Internet Explorer.

Please Help.

Hi Roecha :)

You don't mention the version of Windows you are using, but, try the
following and see if it helps:

Backup and delete
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\RPCKDM

To delete it go to Start>Run and type regedit and press OK.
In the left column navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\RPCKDM.
If it is there, highlight it and right click it, select Export, give it a
name you can be sure to remember. Then right click it again and select
Delete.

Hope this helps.
