can not send or recieve e-mails

I had this problem monthes ago and I can,t seem to remember the solution. I
believe it had something to do with automatic updates. I hope this is enough
info! This is the message I receive.... Account: 'incoming.verizon.net',
Server: 'incoming.verizon.net', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No,
Error Number: 0x800CCC19
 
That error message pertains only to receiving, so I'll address that aspect.
There should have been a sentence or two in front of the part of the error
message you quoted below. Can you supply that missing information?

Which antivirus are you running? Some of them are not very compatible
with Windows Mail.
