Why is it I can receive and view email sent via a Microsoft webmail system,
but can not respond? I get what appears to be an object box the small red
circle with the "X" of death. How can I respond to the web mail?? I have
Vista Ultimate and Office 2007 on my system.

Regards, Larry

Can you let us know what you mean by "Microsoft webmail system"?
Is this somehow connected with the Windows Mail program?

I am going through a company portal to Microsoft Outlook Web Access. On my XP
OS system I have no problem reading, writing or deleting email. With my
Vista OS system I can read and delete but can not respond. When I attempt to
answer my email, I receive no error codes, it appears it loads the response
screen but with in the email section where I would enter my response all I
see is a little black box with the red x within the frame of where the email
message is usually displayed.

Thanks for that clarification. Now I understand what you are talking about.
The server administrator in charge of your Exchange server is derelict in
his duties in that the server should have been patched for Vista clients
at least 10 months ago. Show him these articles:
