Can not open new links on certain websites in IE6

Ok, here's a strange problem in XP Pro using IE6. When trying to click on
links on several web pages (MSN, Yahoo, Google, ect), they will not open.
But this only happens on the secondary account in XP, not on my primary
account. I can create a new account in XP, and the same thing happens. I
have scanned my computer using Ad-aware, eliminated any scumware, and tried
all the fixes suggested in other posts, but to no avail. I have installed
Mozilla on my machine, and it works flawlessly on all accounts. Any help
would be greatly appreciated.

Hmmm.... Sounds like a permissions issue to me. Are these users restricted
in any way? Can you make a new admin-level account and see what happens?

I've been having the similar problems. Cannot find the answer. I cannot open
links from Outlook Express messages nor IE 6 windows. I cannot print either.
Seems to be some sort of security issue, but I cannot find it. I finally had
to resort to installing Netscape and all of the problems have gone away
(when using Netscape).

I have made the new admin level accounts in the past, but to no avail. It
is a frustrating problem.
