Can not open database

I took over a project were an Access 2000 database was created with security.

I made some changes to forms and queries. I sent the finished .mdb file to
the client. The client can not open the database. He is prompted to put in
the password which he does but then prompts him again and again and nevers
opens the database.

I use the same password to open the database and it accepts it one time
without an issue?

Any ideas???

Is it just a password, or, a username and password?

One way or the other, the obvious possible cause is that he is not
entering the password correctly. Does he accidentally have the shift
key down? Is he mixing-up 1 (one) with l (ell), o (oh) with 0 (zero),
and so on? Sure you did not change the password?

I wish it was something that easy but it isn't. The client even sent me an
older version of the database. I opened it and looked at one of the forms
and then closed it and resent it back to him and he has the same problem with
logging into the database.

I don't know anything about security, therefore I didn't touch anything
under the security menu area.

The strange thing is that I did some work for the client about a month ago
and we were not having this problem.

Is it possible that since I had to change my domain login password, since
the last modifications, it could be changing something in the security.mdw
file

Now I have all of my Access databases on my PC are requiring me to login with
username and password, I never setup security on these databases.

Now I'm really stumped and in need of help!!

This means you have (a) added a password to the Admin user of your
default workgroup information (.mdw) file, or (b) used the workgroup
administrator function to "join" (select) some other workgroup
information file which has a password on the Admin user.

Sorry I can't help any more at this time. I have my own swamp to drain
of alligators right now!
