Can not open any .rpt attachements

I receive e-mails on a daily basis from an outside source. The attachements
are in .rpt format and I can not open them. They are very important in my
business. Has anybody else had this problem? I can forward them to another
computer and they can open them. This has happened in the past and when I
got a new computer, I could open them again, but once I got one that would
not open, none of them could open, even the ones that were opened in the past.

Open them with what, in how and what version of Outlook? Try saving them to
disk first instead of opening them directly from Outlook.

I am trying to open them as word documents. I have tried saving them first,
but I right click or go to save attachments and it will not let me.

Outlook 2003.

They are coming from a financial database, and I never had problems until XP

What error/behavior do you get when you try?
