Can not open a WORD document

when I try to open a WOD file which I have opened many
times today and in recent days, it gives me the following
message: "the document name or path is not valid".
Ihave re booted, opened WORD and then tired to open this
file, copied it to the desk top, copied it to another
computer, renamed it, and tried to open after searching
for it with the search function. I have looked for some
way to repair, but found nothing.
Can anyone suggest something to recover this file?

" to open a WOD file " might explain the problem. Have you
tried to open it with the "recent documents" list. You may
be typing a path or file name that is incorrect,
