Can not load applets

We go through a netowrk at home. The host computer can
connect to online chat sites through IE but the client
computers fail to connect even though their settings ae
the same. Please Help.

What is any are the error messages?

There's a good possibility that this is being caused by a third-party
program (adware, spyware, parasite).
