Hi

I have an email with the number 50 20 53 29 in the body text

When i search for the number 50 20 53 29 in the search box outlook will not
find it when i search in the search box without the spaces for 50205329 then
outlook will find the email

We use windows xp sp3, outlook 2007 sp2 and exchange 2007

- The problem occurs when using the instant search box
- It happens even in a plain text message with only 50 20 53 29
- When i search for it as a string "50 20 53 29" it does not work either
- I can reproduce this with new messages
- It seems to happen only with numbers
- When using the menu Tools => Instant search => Advanced find, then the
problem not occurs
- The problem occurs only when searching folders located in Exchange (Inbox,
Sent Items, etc), but does not occur when searching within messages in a .PST
file.

Greetings
Jurgen

Could very well be an artifact of your using the buggy web interface to the
newsgroups. Use a real newsreader and it's likely you'll find the reading
experience significantly better.
