can not change my server's IP address

Dear ,
On my Win2k server(Active directory) I can not change the IP address of the
machine. the TCP/IP properties button is dimmed.
Also the uninstall button is grayed out when I select TCP/IP from the
connection components.

Is there any work around or way to fix this situation?

Is the checkbox for TCP/IP checked?

Are you logged in with an admin account?

Yes The check box is checked and I am administrator of the domain.

You say it is an AD server. Does that mean, it's a DC?
Also, if you are an admin, look at the System Properties for your server, do
you have the option to change your server from a domain to a workgroup? If
there is any error there, you will need to reinstall your network properties
(remove them, then reinstall them)
