You will see that when you install the product the license says it
works forever.
I have informed the guys to update the websites.

this is to check the latest info from our sites for the latest
info/products/services. As I pointed out in my other postings the CLP
is designed so that we can inform the users about whats available. So
it checks for the latest info regularly.

You must appreciate that to change even the smallest piece of code
means the product has to go into testing and then QA, never mind the
time it takes to develop the code. This is of course after somehow
scheduling this work to be done! Its not a quick thing at all. I
thought we have been pretty quick taking on board the idea of perpetual
license and implemented in across all our products! Pls check how long
it took us to do from when it was first mentioned! We continually
taking on board all the suggestions (does not mean all the suggestion
will be implemented of course). But guys pls bear in mind, we are
creating desktop security products for free and your help will go a
long way in making these products easier to use. So pls keep the
feedback coming. I can't promise we will implement it all, but I can
promise that we will listen, fully evaluate every single suggestion you
put forward and implement some of them (hopefully majority).

thanks

There is no game!
our strategy has always been clear and I have been open with it.

We want to create a free desktop security products so that people will
like our products so that we can introduce new technologies which will
allow us make money from enterprises. Our desktop security products
will always be free for desktops (even for enterprises)! We make money
from providing Digital Certificates to online businesses and having our
innovative products downloaded by end users will mean we can make more
money from businesses.

Melih, who are you replying to ? It really would help if you used a
newsreader when you reply. A "technical" company where staff cannot
work out how to use newsreaders does NOT fill me with confidence.

IF you are replying to me then I have another question. If your
registration is purely to "inform the users about what's available"
then why don't you include that with the "registration" email ?

I regularly install/uninstall programs on my different computers. If I
have the ease of using your competitors products or using yours
then I will not even consider yours.

Why ? Because eg. a "free" Zone Alarm stays free. If I have to
constantly contact your web site to enable your software then....

..... what happens if you go out of business ?

......what happens if I change computers, try a "new" install and your
site won't complete the registration ? (Your having changed to
payware).

......what happens if your site is down for maintenance ?

......what happens if routing to your site is down for some other
reason ?

......what happens if I suspect that contacting your site is to install
spyware and/or cookies and/or something else to keep track of me
and/or what/when I do things ?

etc. etc.

In order to promote your business people need to try your freeware/
payware products. As it is many people will NOT do so. For the many
reasons I/others have stated.

Regards, John.
