can increase massage body limit of 999 characters in appointment?

I use to take notes in meetings in the message body of the appointment. But
this space only allows text of less than 999 character. I would like to
increase this capacity. Is there any way to do that?

???? When was a limit to the notes section created? I have used Notes in
Appointments to include rather elaborate text messages, instructions,
agendas, etc.

What version of Outlook are you using?

I use Office 2003. The limit is by default... my question is how to change
that limit.
