WinXP Pro. Connected to a router, sharing broadband service with 3
other XP machines.

When I click IE on the other machines, they all connect to broadband
instantly. But this one naughty IE will open a dialog box saying that
IE is currently off line and I have to click "try again" to make a
connection.

Is there a setting somewhere I can make it fire up the connection
automatically? Thanks

XP and OE share the "Work Offline" setting. Enable it in one program and if
left in that state, it will be active in the other. May want to check if
"Work Offline" is something that the user on the third PC implements.

What is OE?
