Can I use Word 2003 to create electronic cards?

I'd like to send electronic cards to my email list, but I would like to
create my own. I also have Publisher if this is better to use.

That could work (with either Word or Publisher) only if you're certain
that everyone on your list has the same application. If you send them
a document file that they can't open, I don't think they'll appreciate
it. You could make a PDF file from the document, but that's an extra
step.

Some of the dedicated greeting card programs feature e-cards, and
there are lots of web sites that make them.
