Can I use Front Page for Maths projects, primary school.

I am compiling task sheets for primary school children, (grades 1 to 6).
Each page may includes borders, text, tables and geometric shapes of precise
dimension, (the children have to fill these using UNIFIX rods or other shape
blocks).
Currently I am using PHOTODRAW and WORD. I have been told that I can
produce more stable pages using FRONT PAGE but have no idea where to start.

Are you intending to put these pages on the internet?

I don't know what kind of "pages" you're making; Frontpage is for Web Site
Development.
Frontpage is not a graphics program nor a drawing program.

It is an HTML (Hyper-Text Markup Language) editor, so in terms of "word
processing" (a purpose for which it is not intended) it is less "stable"
than MS Word.

If you're making a Web site, use Frontpage, if not stick with MS Word and
whatever else you are using. It would probably not suit your purposes.

PhotoDraw is probably your best tool (by the way, what is "unstable" about
using PhotoDraw and Word? If you mean you can't get your shapes measurements
precise, Frontpage will not help in that regard.)

Maybe another drawing program eg Photoshop or Corel Draw would be an
advantage (these packages cost quite a bit.)

frontpage will not do this Andrew (or at least not very
well).

depending on your exact needs Excel would work OK but it may
be worth trying something like Publisher

I suggest producing the "precise dimension" objects in
photodraw if you are fimiliar with it, save them as
individual images and then import them into publisher as
needed

Publisher is a desktop publishing programme

good luck
