can I use clip art on my web home page?

Look, I don't want any problems down the road if I use this clip art on my
home page. Any suggestions on how to contact the artist and just make the
whole thing legit?

The artwork I want to use is not of a person, group of people, or place. It
is a generic black leaf, but still - somebody created it and I don't want to
step on any toes or do anything that puts my site in jepardy or insults
copywrite rules.

Please advise -
Connie

If you can't contact the artist or the site where you got it, etc., then don't use it.

The MS clip art library is Ok to use w/o any permission
- you just can't resell the clipart images

No...not reselling it @ all. But since I got two very different responses
(from you and Tom) I think I'll check this out further with a copy lawyer.

Thank you both!
