Can I use Access on a palm pilot or pocket pc?

I am wanting to create a database with Microsoft Access but I want it to be
able to be read and information modified from a palm pilot or pocket pc. Is
there a compatible version of access I can use on a pda or do I need some
additional programming?

I can't speak to Palm, either (I suggest searching for an answer to
that in a Palm newsgroup), but you have options.

AFAIK, Pocket Access is merely a conduit for PocketPC but never used by
that platform. There is a Pocket Access application only for
HandheldPCs, which are the clamshell form not the
write-on-the-screen-with-a-stylus PocketPCs.

What you probably want is one of the options listed here:

Good luck!

Handbase runs on the Palm or PocketPC and can interface with Access
databases.

To the best of my knowledge, there isno support for Pocket Access on
any palms. Pocket PC devices and the new Palm treo 700 runing Windows
Ce can support something similar to Pocket Access.

You should consider using Visual CE from my Company, SYWARE, Inc. It
allows you to convert Pocket Access tables to Objectstore tables, build
relational applications and sychronize to Access. It can also
sychronize to mySQL using ODBC.
