can I use a Vlookup in access like i can use them in Excel

Can I use Vlookup formular in access in a similar way to excel?
If not what are the alternatives?

Access is NOT "Excel on steroids".
A database table is NOT A SPREADSHEET.

There is a DLookUp function which can be used in some circumstances, but odds
on there is a better way, using a Query to join two tables. Take a few hours
to get acquainted with what relational databases are, and how they work; if
you try to coerce Access into behaving just like the spreadsheets you're used
to, you will not be taking advantage of the features of the program. See:
