Can I update 5384 to 5456 ??

Sometimes Beta to Beta upgrade is disabled, and it is generally a bad idea
even if possible.
In this particular case, I am not sure if upgrade is possible, I may try
it...

It is enabled this time but it didn't work for me (x86). It is not enabled
for x64.

Conflicts from files that depend on each other. Or something doesn't
quite fit right with the rest of the install.

It might be POSSIBLE, but it isn't recommended at all. Not in beta
anyway.

Except when MS asks the Techbeta folks to try it, as they did going from
5384 to 5456, and report the problems. It didn't work for me but I did try
it and reported the errors. Even if it had worked I would not have left it
that way. I would've done clean installs anyway, for all the already known
reasons.

The reason that they INCLUDED the option in the new build is so that people
could test it..not ignore it....

Yes, but you and I read the release notes.
