Can I stop word printing page 1 of 1 and 2 of 2 instead of 1 of 2

In Word, I am trying to print a 2 page doc with Page 1 of 2 and Page 2 of 2
in the footer. I have used auto text and tried to insert the page numbers by
using the insert page number and insert number of pages buttons. On one PC it
prints fine on another it prints as Page 1 of 1 and Page 2 of 2. How can I
sort the formatting?

The following may help.
On the offending PC, open the file and go to Format | Columns and click on
the preset picture for One (even if it already appears to be selected), then
OK.
If this doesnot cure the problem, and/or also, check Tools Options General
and uncheck "Allow starting in Reading Layout".
If this solves the problem in a given document, and you are experiencing the
same difficulty in all new documents, you'll need to make this same change in
Normal.dot; see http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/BlankDocNotBlank.htm for
instructions on how to fix the template.
