Can I setup 2 months to be continuous, such as Dec.'08 & Jan. '09

I want to setup my multiple months to be continuous, such as Dec. '08 and
Jan. '09. Is this possible? I have no need to setup the "same" month, side by
side.
 
Can you be more specific in what you mean by continuous? Dec 08 and Jan 09
are continuous by nature.
