Can I set up an auto reply when I am out of the office

I want to know if (or how) I can set up an auto response to my emails in
Outlook when I am away from the computer as an example.

if you use exchange server, yes, you can easily set it up - look on the
tools menu for out of office assistant. if you don't use exchange server,
you'll need to create rules and leave outlook running for autoreply to work.

Check here: http://www.slipstick.com/rules/autoreply.htm . You'll need to
leave Outlook running if you're not connected to an Exchange server.
