Can I set Outlook to scroll through the weeks?

Can anyone tell me if I can set Outlook to scroll through the weeks in the
calendar section? so that as the week goes by it automatically scrolls
through into the next one.

It automatically does that here unless you have something wrong with your
Outlook.

I am using Outlook 2003 and have it set for 'work week' view. I would like
to have the current day in the first column and then see the next 4 working
days in the following columns.

Ah, I understand - no, that function is not built into Outlook, just the
highlighting of the current day.
