Can I set IE to open automatically??

Is there a way I can set Internet Explorer so that when
it detects a connection to the internet it automatically
opens???

I have window xp home, IE 6.0, and earthlink is my
provider

It possible for IE to automatically detect an internet connection and launch
itself. You can, however, set IE to open every time to turn on your
computer.
