Can I see whole day without scrolling in week view?

When I look at the week view, I can't see everything at a glance because I
must scroll up and down to see the whole day's range of appointments? Is
there any way to change that so that the appointments aren't so "tall," so
that, say, 8 am to 7pm shows vertically without scrolling up and down?
