2007 Calendar View Weekly Calendar on one page fully viewable

I have seen a couple other posts similar to this, and a couple alluding to
the fact this may not be possible, but I am hoping that is incorrect. I am
an Outlook 2007 new user and trying to find a calendar weekly view for both
computer viewing and printing that will put all of my appointments on the
page at one glance. Outlook 2003 weekly view used two collumns spread wide
and I could see the entire week with the times integrated into the beginning
of each apt. With 2007, it shows the times differently and there is constant
scrolling to see the entire week. How can I get a better weekly view/print???
To take this further, can the same be done with the monthly view? I
have not yet messed with that view very much, but from what I initially saw,
it appears that the monthly view is just as tough. Thanks!!! John

I'm not really sure what you are trying to achieve here as I can't figure
out when exactly you refer to what you want to print, what you want to see,
what you actually see or how your results in Outlook 2003 were.

I can however recommend you to install the Calendar Printing Assistant which
is a free download from Microsoft. You have then a variety of templates to
choose from for printing; sure there is one there that fits your needs.

What I am referring to is the weekly view in Outlook 2003. When I select the
day/week/month view, and then select week, that view is in two collumns.
There are three days on the left side, and four on the right. Each apt shows
on a single line. There are NO time slots for each entire time througout the
day, just a box that lists the appointments. The time for each apt is part
of each line item, but there are no other times listed if there is no
appointment. You can see the entire weeks appointments at a glance, with no
scrolling. This will print the same way.
This same view in Outlook 2007 shows ALL the time slots, whether there
is an appointment or not. It shows all seven days across the top with the
times down the left side. I need to scroll up and down in order to see all
appointments for the week. Actually, the day and year views are also set up
similar. I need to scroll through them MUCH worse than in Outlook 2003 which
each of the three views is available pretty much at a glance to see all
appointments. Also, I am MORE concerned just with the actual views on the
computer as opposed to the printing of the calendars, however I also would
want to print the same views I am looking at occasionally. I will look for
the printer assistant and check that out, thanks for the tip and response.
THANKS!!! John

Aha, that view. No, that one is gone. Personally I've set the time scale to
60 minutes in my Calendar so that I don't have to scroll. To change the time
scale right click on the time indication on the left side of your calendar.

OH, no, they took that view out?? NO WAY!!! I loved it, much better than
what I got now. I have to scroll all the time, there is no way I found to
see the week at a glance! Please say it aint so. I did check my time scale
and it is already set for 60 minutes, and I need to scroll a lot. Thanks for
the response once again. John

John,
FWIW, I am 100% behind you---the old week view was great. You could take one look at your calendar and know what was on for any day that week, at what time. It's really annoying that MS took that option out.
