Can I see if my message has been forwarded on?

I want to know if a recipient of one of my e-mails has forwarded it on - is
that possible?
 
No. That is why those emails that say "Forward on or else..."
are just alot of bunk.

Under Tools - you can request a receipt. Of course the recipient has the
option of not sending the receipt.
 
A receipt is only to try and verify that the original recipient
"received the message". There is no way to follow the email
after it is in someone elses mailbox.

So why aren't YOU sending a copy of the e-mail to the next recipient
rather than trying to get a recipient to send to another recipient? Oh,
I see, you're wondering how to force recipients to participate in your
chain mail scheme. Won't work. You don't get to control what anyone
does with your e-mail.
