Can I safely remove these folder?

Magne

I have reinstalled WinXP a couple of times, and a lot of
folders named like this: $NtUninstallQ817606$, have been
generated under the WinNT folder.

Can I safely just remove these $NtUninstall.... folders??

Best Regards

If you wish to safely remove the "uninstall files" for the
Hotfixes (i.e. $NtUninstallQxxxxxx$ files shown in Windows Explorer)
and cleanup your Add/Remove Programs list, visit MS-MVP Doug Knox's
excellent website for instructions.

These are the uninstall files for the hotfixes, Magne. If you are happy that
everything with the hot fixes is okay, you can delete them.
