can I "revive" cancelled appointments?

A

Alex Meier

When I (as a resource) cancel an appointment somebody else has set up,
the appointment vanishes from my calendar as is never to be seen again.

However, sometimes I change my mind and DO want to join the appointment
- but I do not find it again because it is gone.

Can I display cancelled appointments in order to inspect and possibly
"revive" them?

TIA,
Alex

Normally, cancelled appointments are removed from the calendar. Is it in
the deleted items folder?

Even if it was it would be no great help because I would like to revive
appointments which I would have rejected a week ago, for instance. Since
every time I close Outlook the waste basket gets emptied, these "old"
appointments are not in the waste basket anymore at the time I want to
recall them.

Is it possible?

(e-mail address removed) says...

Regarding that there are no further responses: this problem cannot be
solved at all?

Do you really need the wastebasket to be emptied so often ? Could you
mark appointments as tentative until you are SURE that you wouldn't
want to go ?

The only resolution is a behavioral change - mark them as tentative or wait
longer to cancel them, don't empty the waste basket so often (or try deleted
items recovery if you use exchange server).

Exchange server? Is deleted items recovery enabled for longer than a week?
