Can I remove XP from a dual boot system?

I accidently created a dual boot situation on my pc by installing W2K
Server from a bootable CD over top of XP. I didn't reformat the HD
during installation because the setup program wasn't recognizing all of
my 250 GB HD, and I didn't want to reformat it that way.
Is there an easy way to completely get rid of XP, or should I just
reinstall W2K Server and reformat?
Thanks!

WinXP probably resides in c:\Windows whereas Win2000 Server
most likely resides in c:\WinNT. Launch Win2000, rename c:\Windows
to c:\Windows.XP (which you can only do if the folder is not in use).
After a few days you can safely delete c:\Windows.XP.

Thanks! Is that really all there is to it?? Aren't there any other
remnants of XP hiding out somewhere? It's hard to believe it could be
that simple!

WinXP will also install three boot files, which are compatible with
Win2000. If you remove then you cripple your system.

Lastly, it will install a few things in c:\Program Files, but so will
Win2000. Again you must not remove them, and I know of
no way to delete those that are WinXP specific.

It sounds like there's only a few things left after deleting the
windows directory, and they won't cause me problems, so I'll follow
your advice. Thank you very much for your help. I'm very (pleasantly)
surprised that it's that simple.
