I know that when using Column Settings in Windows Explorer, I can
choose which details I wish to see. That is, if I'm looking into a
file with music in it, I can right click in the file and I can choose
to show bit rate and duration for example.
The problem is, I have hundreds of files (one file for each artist,
then a file for each album within each artist-- Thus, a dozen or so
files under the Beatles, another dozen under the Beach Boys, etc.)
Is there a way I can force these certain settings to display in every
file that I open in explorer? I.e., Instead of opening each one
seperately, then right clicking, then choosing bit rate, and duration,
etc., I'd like for every file to automatically display the bit rate and
duration.
I guess this question would apply to universal changes to other types
of files, too.
Thanks in advance for any insight, I've been tinkering for days and
cannot figure this out.
