Can i install XP

I have an older computer running win2000. How do I find out if this
computer can run XP?

The computer is a Dell pII xps R450.

Go to the MS web site and download/run the upgrade advisor. Usually,
but not always, computers that can run Win2000 will also be able to
run XP. You may have to increase system memory and possibly add a
larger hard drive if the one you're using is small by today's
standards.
