can I install IE8 and keep IE7?

hi

WindowsXP Pro

I have IE7 installed on my computer, I use my computer for developing
websites in asp.net. I have a server here with IE6 (so I can test how my
webpages looks like in IE6)... but I very much would like to have IE8 on my
computer together with IE7 so I can test how the webpages looks in the
different browsers...

As it's now I have to upload my webpages to my server and ask somebody else
who have IE8 to send me screenshots, etc.. that is very time consuming...

So, any ideas how I can install IE8 and keep IE7?

You can't have IE7 and IE8 unfortunately.

You might find this of interest (it may or may not be of assistance to you):

It's possible, yes, but such side-by-side scenarios are not supported.

You're best bet would be to have XP/IE7 running in one partition and XP/IE8
running in another.

Another solution that would allow faster switching between the
two OSes would be to have them each running on their own
virtual machine.
