Can I insert like 10 pictures into 10 slides all at once

I know how to insert one picture at a time in one slide, is there a way to
insert a number of pictures into a number of slides all at once to save time.

It worked great thank you so much, you just made my life easier. I have one
more question you might know. Once I brighten and change contrast or
whatever I may do to a slide. Is there a way to store it and then apply it
to the next slides or multiple slides?

If you are using Office 2003, you can click on New and select Photo Album.
You will then have the option to navigate to your pictures and select
however many you wish to include. Once you click the "create" button, each
picture will be inserted into its own slide. 10 pictures equals 10 slides.

Works in Office XP (2002) as well. And Photo Album is available as a free
add-in for PowerPoint 2000.
