In OL2003 I want to fix the default personal folder to "Personal Folders
plus search subfolders". How can I do this? Is it a registry change?

What type of account? With some types of accounts, you should be able to
right-click on"Personal Folders", choose Properties, then Advanced and
change the name that gets displayed.

Brian,

The subject of my post relates to changing the Outlook 2003 default
"search" folder. I use search frequently and every time I have to
change the search folder from "contacts" to "Personal folder" plus tick
the subfolder box. I want all this to be the default and not return to
just "contacts"
