Can I find out Master and S;lave on DVD without opening computer?

Is there a way to check which of my 2 DVD drives are Master or Slave without
opening the computer and taking them out?

Download/run Belarc, a free inventory-taker for computer components. I
think it will tell you--it tells the amt. of ram in branch 0, in 1, in 2,
etc. so I'd think Mstr/Slv on the dvd's would be depicted also. HTH, s
 
I have BELARC.

It does not tell Master and Slave configuration of drives.
 
Try checking in the Bios. Usually the model # is noted in there. As the
info is flashing by
hit the Pause Key and that will freeze the screen.
