Thanks, but in other words are you saying the only way an Access program can
send out a fax is to display the fax number, prompt the user to write it down
on a piece of paper, instruct the user to set his fax printer as the default
and then when he's done, ask him to press a button that will print out the
desired object to the default printer, at which time he can copy the number
from the piece of paper into the proper field when his fax printer driver
prompts him for the destination number? Or am I not understanding something?
No. It is possible to use VBA to code a report to print to a specific
printer. I have never done this myself, but I keep running across the
technique (maybe someone's trying to make a hint). Also, if you output
the report to a Snapshot, you can then create VBA code which uses
Outlook to get the fax number and send it via O.
