can i establish a default folder to save attachments into?

I download and save a lot of attachments, all of which SHOULD go to one
certain folder that I want to specify. But I have to navigate to that folder
each time I choose to save the attachment. Can I not define a default folder
within Outlook into which I want the attachments I choose to save to go? I
cannot find it, if there is a way.

Version of Outlook?

I always put a shortcut to the folder on the places bar (outlook 2000 and
later) so the attachments folder is easy to get to.
