I have XP HOME.

Over times, my desktop has gotten crowded with too many icons.

Here's what I would like to do:

Have a desktop with a much smaller # of icons (say the ones that I use for
business) with another icon with the property that when I click on it, I
would get a second desktop with the other icons on it.

Can I do this?

Why not create folders on your desktop with names like "work" or whatever and
drop the related icons into those folders??
On the left side of my desktop I have the icons I use everyday on the right I
have folders with the shortcuts inside of the programs that I use occasionally.
hope this helps

Hello MB,

Don't know if it's possible, but it would seem to be a lot simpler to create
a new folder on your desktop and drag all the icons for your business needs
into it then rename it "Business".
