I need to create documents on my PC in Word 2003 (Professional ed.), and they
need to be able to open on a computer that only has Word 98. Is there a way I
can save them on my computer so that they can open in Word 98?

It will be fine without doing anything special.

Word 98 is actually a Mac version---but it doesn't matter, because
Windows and Mac, Word 97, 98, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004 all use
the same file format and will be interchangeable.

I believe when you save the document click on the "Save as type" dro
down box and find the version of Word you want. Just click on Save an
you should be able to open the file in the older version. GLTU :
