I have MS Office Professional Edition 2003 @ home. I only have Word 2000 @
employer's office. Can I create and save a document in the '03 version, then
take it to work to view/edit/save in the '00 version?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

A qualified yes. The file formats are the same, and there are only a few new
features (such as booklet printing) introduced after Word 2000. If you're
careful to avoid these features, you'll probably be all right (it might be a
good idea, too, to select Word 2000 in Tools | Options | Compatibility). I
think there have been more reports of problems opening Word 2000 docs in
Word 2003 than the other way around.

I do it all of the time between work and home. One caveat - I'm not doing
anything "fancy" with the work documents.
