Can I create a banner in Word 2000?

Can I create a banner (like a long 'Happy Birthday' banner) in Word 2000 or
newer versions? Thanks.

Not natively. Some printers (in Word, choose File - Print - Properties) area
able to create large posters from a single-page document by scaling up to 2,
4, 9 or 16 pieces of paper. None of our printers, however, will do banners;
but I suppose it's possible that some will. Check your printer properties.

However... if you have Publisher, then note that it can indeed print
banners. Publisher 2003 can create banners as long as 10 feet.
