Adaptec USBxchange Adaptor (still in production?)

Adaptec USB2.0xchange Adaptor (still in production?)

Belkin did one.

Thanks for the tip. It helps when shopping for something to be able to
know the name.

Ok. That answer gave me another question.
My machine has USB2 but the computer I would like to go back an forth
to only has USB1.

If I want it to work on both machine will buying the USB2 version work?

The machine that has USB1, I hooked a printer up that was USB2 and that
worked so I am guessing that most, if not all, USB2 devices will work
with USB1 but only slower. Correct?

Or, if this is not true, I know that all USB1 devices will work in a
USB2 port. So I should get the USB1 adapter?

Just a side note. I have an Usenet server provided by my ISP but most
of the time it is more convenient just to use Google. The reason I do
this is because I have a link that has Google search Usenet for my
email address. This gives me a list of all the threads that I have
posted to instantly.

The only reason I mention this is because they are getting damn good at
showing items in the right hand column that I might be interested in
buying based on the content of the message. They have done very good
in the past but they missed the ball this time on the adapter. They
showed a list of companies that do sell adapters but this specific one
was not on the hit list.
