Can I change the default settings for the reminder of an event?

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to change the default settings on an
event. Each time an event has been set up it automatically sets it to have a
reminder 18 hours before. I would like to be able to change the default for
this reminder but have been unable to do so.

Here's hoping!!
 
Hi - go into Tools and Options. You can change the settings for the Calendar
and reminder function.
 
all day events default to 18 hours and it can't be changed.
