Can I change Object names without Breaking my Database ? (tables, queries & forms)

Can I change the name of a table, querie or form without breaking my
database?

Will Access keepup with name changes and Automatically Change them
_anywhere_ they are referenced... so everything will still work?

I wouldn't rely on Access's AutoNameCorrection feature to work.

Far better is to use one of the 3rd party tools that were designed for this
purpose:

if you can't trust a vendor then don't use their products. if you
think that a feature is buggy douglas; why in the hell woudln't you
scream and kick bloody murder at MS to fix it?

why do you MDB-sissies accept mediocrity?

I don't trust MDB -- by itself-- ot not break things without renaming
stuff.. MDB just craps out randomly anyways
so i dont use MDB at all for anything in the real world

i just think that it's funny that you guys try to pick and choose
features that are usable in Access.

MS is taking us all for a ride and you wimps are too lame to scream

Is it true that Ucora's searches data wile the others search Objects and
Code?

To be honest, I've never used Ucora's, but their website says "Search for a
string in tables, queries, macros, forms, reports, modules."

The only restriction I noticed is that it searches, but doesn't replace, in
macros.

I've been using

for a couple of years and find it very useful
I've not used it for macros, but it works well for everything else.
