Can I change a wireless router into just a wireless hub?

I current setup is using a wired hub to connect two PCs to a dsl
modem. I can get two different IPs from my ISP for those two PCs via
DHCP.

Now I brought a Netgear 814 wireless router in hope to upgrade my home
network. But the problem is, by using the router, I no longer could
assign two distinct IP address to my two PCs. What they get from the
router is two private ip address which is not what I desired.

So I'm wondering if there's anyway that I can change the wireless
router simply into a wireless hub? That is, I don't need the routing
at all, I need only to use it as a hub. I don't care about the
security issues or so forth. I just need to give my two PCs two real
IP adresses. Can any expert here give me any suggestions on how to
achieve it?

Thanks very much!

Yes, you can do that:

1. Using one of the computers, access the wireless router's built-in
web server and disable the router's DHCP server.

2. Connect the DSL modem to one of the router's LAN ports, not to its
WAN port.
