My desktop computer is old (windows 98). I have a new laptop (XP) with MS
Office Outlook 2003.

I want to be able to copy my outlook folders & contacts, all my email
messages, to burn a CD to get it on the laptop, or I do have PC Anywhere.

Can someone tell me how to proceed? Will I have to redo my calendar?

You can email me direct to: (e-mail address removed)

Thank you, whomever you are, for your help!

Bill -- Thank you so very much. I can now get this accomplished. Can you tell
me where the archives are stored so I can get those also? What would they be
called? Would they be in the same file folder as the .pst?

more than likely in the same folder. those files might be hidden so you
might need to show hidden files locate them. The archive is usually named
archive.pst.

Ask here, get an answer here. It's not smart to post your address in a
newsgroup, unless you LIKE viruses and SPAM.

I'd copy the PST over and then import it since Outlook 2003 uses a
new file format.

I'd open it and move the items to a new format PST.
