Can I boot from USB Floppy?

I want to buy a USB floppy drive.

Can I boot from the floopy drive ? Thanks.

Only if the motherboard supports it. If it does, consider a USB flash card
instead.
 
It is possible to boot from usb floppy, when your motherboard /BIOS support USB Floppy boot.
(Check your motherboard manual or BIOS Boot device menu)
 
Hate to say it, but "It depends...". We have a group of Dell Optiplex
GX270's that were configured w/o a floppy or CD-ROM. If I activate the A:
floppy and change the boot sequence to boot from floppy first, it will boot
from a USB floppy. We did it to Ghost an image file onto them....

It's going to depend on the manufacturer, model and BIOS........
