Can I add a logo (.jpg) in a custom signature in Outlook 2002?

I've tried searching everywhere to get instructions on how to create a
signature in Outlook 2002 (Office XP Pro) -- but I'm at the end of the
frustration point!!

Does anyone know if it is possible to include my logo (a 250 pixle .jpg) and
some text in a signature. I tried doing it in Word (using the create an
e-mail signature instructions etc. and the text cam up, but the graphic had
an X in it -- it was not there!

If there any settings in Outlook 2002 that I need to do or any specifi
step-by-step instructions...it would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks much!

| Not sure if you know anything about HTML, but if so set an image tag
| into your signature and it will draw it from your web server, an image
| tag looks like this. Make sure the image is available at the
| locations, and make sure you replace the locations below with your
| own.

Actually, if the email is RTF or HTML you should be able embed a GIF into the signature as
long as one chooses the avanced signature wich will craete a rich text signature rather than
an ASCII, text, signature. Having a signature go to a web site graphic is NOT a good idea.
